Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has been leaving an imprint on the tiny screen. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. In Texas, she started a new career in physical therapy. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas then moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities that included local independent films as well as world-wide commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from finding out that she loved acting. After that, she relocated into New York in 2001 and she got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. In the beginning of the decade she was seen in tiny roles on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in 2004 on the brief dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear with a variety of famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on for 85 of the episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated numerous times for her performance, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor in CSI Miami. She was cast as Marisol Delko as the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. The most recent television appearance was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly darker comedy Do No Harm. After just two episodes, the show ended up being cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are born of Italian heritage and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. She was brought up in a conservative, religious family. Milano's journey into the world of sports began when she was seven as her babysitter brought her to an audition. Milano was among four girls selected from among more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano has appeared on TV in commercials, and off Broadway productions like a musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
